the plague has hit the gorillabun household. i'll spare you the boring details because unless you are the one infected, no one really gives a shit about your endless descriptions of how bad you feel. i will say that it sucks being a grown up when you feel like crap along with your kidlets. no one brings sweet cocktails to your bedside, rub your aching back or say, hey, mom, you should really stay in bed all day. we'll all leave you alone to rest and recover. long gone are the days of having your mom wait on you hand and foot when you feel like cow dung. so, mom, if you are reading this, i really should say, i'm really sorry i never acknowledged all that you did for me as a sickly kid. you deserve the princess treatment the next time you are sick. i'll even spike your sweet cocktails with vodka if you want.
rich is leaving town early tomorrow morning after being home for two whole days. the days that encompass his presence are few and far between lately. so, in order to remind him of the three girls who patiently/impatiently wait for his swift return, we send him on his way with a sweet family picture for his pocket and a deftly decorated reminder of his sweet little girls......

Ugh, it's no fun being sick. No fun at all. And to have the H out of town for the duration? RUDENESS!! He owes you all many happy presents upon his return.

Wow, that's a lovely decorating job you've done. If that doesn't inspire grins, I don't know what will.
Hope you're all better soon.

Ugh! It's hard enough when you are sick and your kids are healthy. It's worse when everyone is sick. Geesh, I think I just said what everyone else is saying.
We've been dealing with strep at our house - so I can relate a little bit. But I hope you and your family feel MUCH better REALLY quick!
