Anyone want the Gorillabuns household to come and spend Thanksgiving with YOU and YOURS? We'll bring the wine/booze if you can handle us since we aren't really up to tradition this year. Come to think of it, who wants us to visit during Christmas? This is REALLY the time when we are going to be a lively bunch. If anything, we'll make great fodder for your subsequent conversations with friends and foe.
"Whew! We thought we were a fucked up mess but THOSE people take the proverbial cake!"

Sure...I am a freakishly good cook and will put you all in a tryptophane induced food coma and then y'all will really fit in with the rest of the family. xoxo

Sure, bring the booze and come liven up our holidays in Seattle! My side of the family is almost silent, so meals are big yawnfests unless my in-laws get tipsy and start a fight with my parents. The more, the merrier.

Christmas your more than welcome to come to the rainforest Off the coast of Canada! Were game for more! be forward the twins drool copioulsy! And the big kids wouldn't mind some company as Mom (me) can get pretty bummed out around the holidays. New Years I suck at I hate it we avoid it like the plauge. A new year means a new aniversary for me. and that sucks. But Christmas more the merrier, please disregard the spelling as my brain is on fried mode!!!!

Tulsa isn't too far! You are more than welcome. We have lots of toys, an obnoxious playset, and booze to spare. And we can talk babies, Thalon and fertility when everyone else is passed out. Let me know if you'd like our address!

California Baby! One bathroom! It doesn't get much better than that. Oh yeah, did I mention that we would be spending Thanksgiving at my MIL's with my SIL and her friends who are all in AA? Yikes...there's always the after party and the Foo Fighters are my 5 year old's fave rave.

If only it were that simple. Praying for you and your family during this holiday season. 2004 was our year of hell... my bro-in-law died in March and my mom died in Nov. Thanksgiving and Christmas were rough to say the least. I am not saying I know the pain of losing a beautiful boy like you did but I do remember the hell... and that sucked. Hugs from MD.

I wish you could come for Thanksgiving! I'd much rather spend it with your family than my in-laws. Groan.

Wow, you have invites from all over the country. I can't imagine with all that choice that you'd want to come to Cleveland, Ohio. But should the urge strike you, my family will gladly have all of you.

Shana...
You know how I love you, and I am in desperate need of a sister, since this is the first Holiday season without mine! It's going to Suck-ASS! So, bring your brood to my nut house, and we will have a BLAST. Rich and Dave can Talk about Hunting, fishing and whatever it is that men ponder about, The kids are pretty much about the same age difference I think. David is 9 and Jake is 8. Nico is 4 1/2, and my little princess Abbie is 15 months! You and I can hang out in the kitchen, and eat, drink and be merry...Oh yeah and get Tom the turkey ready. Given that they don't find us in the pantry... wasted and cracking up! Doesn't that sound like the PERFECT Thanksgiving??????

Well, we did Thanksgiving weeks back, but you're welcome to hop a plane and join me and my family in Hong Kong for Christmas. Yes, we go cause the weather is warm, and cause hubby's family is there....but we go for the whole month of December to avoid the whole Christmas fiasco here. I got no excuse at all but just can't be bothered pretending to like family that I don't. Buying gifts for people I don't particularly care for, and acting all happy and sweet just because it's December. So sure, come along. We actually have a marvelous time. Last year, me and my daughters spent Christmas day on the beach, playing in the sand, and letting the locals laugh as they sang High School Musical tunes at the top of their lungs!!!!
Let me know if you want help booking a flight!
:)
