I've been in a knee-deep mess, ya'll. This prepping for a friend to come and visit is throwing off my sloven game.
Speaking of game, I am still a big fan of Big Brother. I just don't have the time to write my expose' on what I think about the players at this time. Because you care about what I think. I know.

We have one day left to get this project finished.
Who wants to guess if this will be completed in time?
Basically, I feel like I'm in an episode of "Chopped." I've had a ton of strange, dusty, old ingredients thrown at me and I some how need to make a gourmet masterpiece with them. I have the commentator in the background screaming at me, "You have one minute! YOU SHOULD BE PLATING RIGHT NOW!" I haven't a clue where my plates are and I'm still trying to cook those damn root vegetables. EVERYONE knows you are supposed to cook root vegetables with 1/2 gas and 1/4 of the time. I'm sure my offered plate will be missing the mother-of-pearl key ingredient. To be fair, it took us three years to get to this place. One and 1/2 weeks is simply not enough time to fix it.
Well, it looks good from here...whatever it is! ;)

We're trying to get 11 years of house neglect repaired in 2 weeks in order to put this money pit of a house up for sale. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get 'chopped' too. :) Good luck on your project...I should've invited company over more often, then maybe I would have kept my house a bit nicer.

Also in the camp of lost as to what we are seeing? I recommend a tornado - gets your ass into gear. Obviously I do not recommend that but it does force progress.
