Yea, that thing in the corner is really not going to take care of itself any time soon. I have to say, I've beaten personal best with the removal of all of the ornaments and other Christmas decor. So to me, I'm totally ahead of the game.
One of my bestestsssss friends sent us a couple of cocktails of the month for three months for a Christmas present. I must say, this is one of the best gifts EVAH given to me. Tonight we are mainlining Side Cars while performing intermittent breathing treatments on Moira.
At least we are making a party out of this shit.

Cheers! I'm in the same lets pretend this is a good toast boat!

Cocktail of the month? Beats getting a box of grapefruit in the mail. I had no idea such a marvelous gift existed.
I hope your daughter is doing better.

That IS a fun gift.
Let's pretend I didn't see the photo of the tree. ;-)

I got my decorations down earlier this year because I had a trip to take. I think having the tree up is perfectly okay and I hope you turn it on each night while enjoying those cocktails!

My husband was all for taking the tree down the weekend after Christmas. I laughed at him (especially since I do all the freaking work).
Cocktails of the month make breathing treatments easier on everyone...

I'm so happy you liked the gift! Hope that Moira is off the breathing treatments by now. xo

Hell to the effing YES; now THAT is a gift. Sorry to hear about Moira's asthma flare-ups- i hope they resolve themselves. My hubs has terrible asthma and I am skeered shitless that Joe will too, because I have had very little personal experience with it myself.
I don't even bother with Christmas, anymore, since I always end up back in Iowa at my Mom's. My atheist-Jewish husband thanks me, I'm sure. But I can't say that in the day I ever put the tree away before February, except for the year that I broke it off with my ex-husband on NYE. Kudos, girl!
