Friday was "National Margarita Day." Since I love and celebrate all things alcoholic in nature, I was adamant in dragging the family out for Mexican food and margaritas. Horrible mother moment: Celia was feeling ill and I made her go. Quite honestly, I needed out of the house - if only for 45 minutes. The margarita was really just an excuse. I know you don't believe me...
Is it me or does it seems they'll (just who is they? Do you know?) make a holiday out of anything these days. How about "National I Got Out of Bed Day?" or "National Cheese Fries Day?"or let's reverse the get out bed and make it, "National Sleep ALL DAY Day?" Man, I really want to petition this day to happen. Think of the millions of dollars we would save in oil and gas and electricity?
In other news, we were supposed to have the WORST SNOW STORM IN HISTORY yesterday. As par for the course, people went freaking crazy and ransacked the grocery stores for bread and milk. I on the other hand had 1/4 of a carton on milk and some moldy bread. OKC received rain and 17 snowflakes.
Who is looking like a winner now? This gal!
Not these fools:
This week so happens to include my birthday somewhere in it. I am quite thrilled with the anticipation and prospect of not receiving anything from my husband. I mean a card would be cool. A day where he took the kids to carpool would be cool. I'm really pretty easy. I think. We'll see how it all plays out.
Hope you are having a good week. I'm blase' about it all. Turning older, fighting the 95% grey in my hairs and looking for a new a lady bits doctor are just some of my goals this week.
I'm suck a Rockstar.
You are a rock star!

We are at the end of our Blizzard of OZ, thank goodness! I am ready for my grouchy husband to get back to work and quit making messes for me to clean up while he takes a damn nap.
My birthday is Saturday. I will be 40 this year. I thought it wouldn't bug me, but it does.
My son has been fighting a fever and the pukes since early Sunday morning. He woke up early this morning with a fever again, but is fever free after sleeping a few more hours.
I hope you have a fabulous birthday. I'm guessing my gift won't be coming this year since he hasn't had a chance to get me anything. I hope your husband shows you how loved and appreciated you are.
God, what I wouldn't do for a margarita and a nap.

"I'm SUCK a rock star"
: )
There's the potty mouth we all know and love!!! Your week sounds about as exciting as mine, well other than it's not my birthday, I don't wanna go to a girls' bits doc, and I'm not in OKC. But other than that, just like my week. The crap news is that later today, we are supposed to get the remnants of said monster storm. But our temp is right around zero, so it may be rain or it may be snow-maggedon. Or we might get 17 flakes like you.
I have no bread, and some milk that would likely pass the smell test.
Rock on!!

Happy Birthday!
If you want to institute National Cheese Fries Day, I'm 100% in! I see some problems in celebrating the Sleep All Day Day, but I'm willing to give it a shot...

Happy birthday! Let me know if the Sleep All Day Day thing works out, I'm in. I crave restful sleep like nothing else these days. If you had told me in college it would come to this...

If I can be the Official Chef of National Cheese Fries day, I'm totally in. I'd also like to throw my hat in for "Official mascot" of Sleep all day day.
Happy early bee-day, from one old gal fighting the gray to another.

I forgot our birthdays were so close. Mine's Saturday. What should we do to celebrate? Wanna take a road trip up here to CO and celebrate with me?
I'm feeling you with the funk. Marriage has been less than stellar lately and hard decisions are on the brink. I could use a break.
This is a birthday that the hubs really needs to be wooing the shit out of me, but I know it won't turn out that way. He's already informed me that he gave his ONE idea of what to get me to his mother for her to get me. Which means, 1. I'm going to get shitty, fugly-ass slippers and 2. he will wind up doing absolutely nothing for me b/c his one idea was taken.
And now I need a drink. do you have any margaritas leftover?

Happy B-day week!
I bet Eskimo Joes celebrates a Cheese Fry day every once in awhile.
I'm tired of this damn OKC weather. Ready for warmer days!

This was the first year I'd heard of national margarita day and I'm a bit annoyed that I couldn't participate. Next year.

Happy Happy Happy Birthday, Mamabuns and Julie and Gamanda!! Even though our husbands may half-ass it, at least we can gripe about them and still manage to laugh.
Also, I'm all over National Cheese Fries day.

There are actually definitely a great deal of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I give the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most fundamental thing will probably be working in honest superior faith. I don?t know if very best practices have emerged about points like that, but I'm certain that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls really feel the impact of just a moment's pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

An fascinating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you should write much more on this subject, it may possibly not be a taboo subject but normally individuals are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

I'm impressed, I must say. Definitely rarely do I encounter a blog that's both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you might have hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the problem is something that not enough many people are speaking intelligently about. I'm particularly pleased that I stumbled across this in my search for some thing relating to this.
